The goal of making a deal is to generate greater profit, and as merchants, we always choose the higher-risk option. — Jamilah
Akdilek Jamilah Emil, known as Akdilek IV, is the fourth and current leader of the Akdilek Commercial Alliance (ACA) and the first female Amir (a ruler in Arabic) in the organization's history. Her leadership has focused on reducing the influence of the traditional aristocratic bloc in ACA governance. Furthermore, she seeks to reposition the alliance as a commercially pragmatic entity capable of effectively operating across all active factions.
As the oldest daughter of the royal family, Jamilah inherited a structurally compromised position. Ashlar and the aristocratic opposition bloc orchestrated her installation as Amir, assuming that her age and appearance would allow them to govern through her as a puppet princess without resistance. Jamilah recognized their scheme and maintained a calculated facade of compliance while building her own authority. Despite her innocent looks, she skillfully navigated the complexities of the relationship between the aristocracy and the common populace, with the support of her trusted advisor, Aston.
During this time, she conducted covert intelligence operations through Andre, one of her best undercover spies embedded within the maintenance crew. When Ashlar discovered and eliminated Andre, Jamilah let the situation unfold before presenting the information directly to Sophia, who had previously attempted to assassinate her. This maneuver successfully won Sophia over to Jamilah's side, becoming her bodyguard.

Asslam intercepted the Hetero-Core
During the Gray Raven operation aboard Asslam, Jamilah took charge of the negotiations while Aston handled the public-facing role. She opened the civilian passage into the aristocratic carriage despite Ashlar's objections, accepted Sophia's proposal as the final decision from the carriage vote, and ultimately secured an alliance with Babylonia while maintaining full ACA sovereignty over the Eternal Engine. By the end of the operation, Ashlar's scheme was exposed, and his faction was removed from ACA governance.

As a result of the formal agreement with Babylonia, Jamilah wrote a letter to President Hassen, requesting that he grant Sophia the status of an official envoy, allowing her to leave the train for Babylonia to provide assistance, expand her knowledge, and experience the world beyond.
