Fenrir aircraft are characterized by their high maneuverability, reinforced armored frames, advanced targeting systems, and compatibility with Construct deployment, making them essential for both frontline engagements and rapid extraction missions.
Due to the intense G-forces generated by rapid acceleration, high-speed maneuvers, and atmospheric transitions, piloting a Fenrir places a severe physical burden on the body, making Constructs the primary viable operators. Even human passengers frequently experience motion sickness, disorientation, and physical distress during travel.
At full performance, the Fenrir can reach speeds exceeding 20 km/s and generates over 10 Gs of thrust pressure, beyond what most human bodies can sustain for extended periods. Human pilots can operate the aircraft at reduced capacity. Cyril, the captain of the 25th Eastern Unit in the 633rd Tactical Air Force, 3rd Squadron, and the chief instructor of Project Fenrir, nicknamed "Beak of Islay," is the only human on record to operate a Fenrir at full capability.
After the Great Evacuation, there are few experienced Fenrir pilots remaining in Babylonia. Most of the seasoned pilots have left Babylonia to join the ground forces.
