Mr. Copperfield... In the end, I failed you. I couldn't protect the Estate. — Leon
Roseblade is an advanced Executor model refitted as a butler for the upper class, designed to serve its master's household faithfully. Produced in the late Golden Age, the unit closely resembles human beings through the addition of synthetic skin and a basic emotion module, with a high-level bioelectric signal simulation that enables natural social interaction. His obsession with traditional swords and chivalry stems from his devotion to humanity.
His primary weapon is a rapier used in close-range combat. He can imbue his blade with fire to release flaming shockwaves against nearby targets. He projects multiple shadow clones to impale the enemy simultaneously, dealing heavy damage, and generates a rose-shaped energy field beneath the target that detonates on contact. His stealth attack cloaks him in darkness before he rapidly closes the distance and drives the blade through the target.
Kamui extracted Zack's memory shell before evacuating the manor. Liv established a connection to extract available intelligence.
Roseblade's name was Leon, and he served as a butler of the Museum Estate under Mr. Copperfield. On the day Mr. Copperfield departed the estate with his daughter Emma for Babylonia, he assigned Leon and Zack to remain behind and hold the estate in his absence. All security systems were activated. The surrounding citizens had already evacuated. The Corrupted, controlled by the Punishing Virus, had already reached the military production capabilities and breached the outer perimeter approximately one hour before breaking through the inner defense line. Leon watched the last transport leave from the inner garden.
Leon and Zack held the manor long enough to ensure all remaining civilians were clear. The engagement cost Zack his integrity: the Virus reached him before it was over. Leon placed him in stasis immediately after. For reasons not yet determined, Zack's infection level remained stable and contained within that stasis state until the Task Force arrived and brought him down.
When the Ascendants later infiltrated the estate, Leon moved to defend it by eliminating both Corrupted and Constructs alike, denying the Ascendant any assets to convert or exploit. He engaged the Ascendant directly and was defeated in the clash, sustaining Punishing Virus infection in the process. Already compromised, he was subsequently engaged by Gray Raven and activated his self-destruct sequence at the end of the battle.
