Liv conducted a reading from Rohacchi's memory data, which she had copied from the ruins of the desert following the engagement in Kamui's recovery mission.
According to his recovered memory data, Rohacchi detected an anomalous energy discharge descending into the ruins and traced it to its impact point deep within the excavation site. The signal did not match any geological signature in his database. On approach, he had reactivated dormant mechanisms throughout the structure, bringing sections of the ruins online.
Deeper in the ruins, he encountered a group of Corrupted mechanoids conducting systematic excavations. A Roseblade unit identified him and attempted to induct him into the Ascension Network. Rohacchi refused, citing only what he referred to as Sagemachina's guidance. The Roseblade responded with force. He retreated, only to find a unit of his own model type blocking the passage behind him. The implication is not subtle: the Ascendants had already subverted the units and were using them to secure the site. They were searching for Tenebrion.
He was still in the lower ruins when Nanami appeared, having observed the exchange from the far side of the chamber. She asked his name. He did not have one. She read the serial designation from his chassis: IX-68. Working from the numerals, she named him Rohacchi and invited him to accompany her. He accepted. Together, they resolved to find what he had come to the ruins for: the Sage Mural.
They cleared through the remaining Corrupted in the lower levels before ascending to the upper ruins. When they reached the site where Rohacchi had first observed the mural, the chamber was empty. Structural assessment suggests the Babylonia force's intervention during the broader operation caused the collapse of the chamber. The mural is presumed destroyed.
The terms Sagemachina, Sage Mural, and awakened mechanoids have been investigated following the encounter with a similar phenomenon.
